    Graduate Medic Ages

    Hey, I'm wanting to apply to Newcastle for medicine after my first degree. and was just wanting to ask students who have gone before me: What degrees did u do before medicine? and how old were u wen u started medicine?

    Hi -
    I'm in 1st year now and I'm 22! I did Psychology before med school. To be honest, when I started I was pretty nervous about starting with people a lot younger, but there are quite a few graduates/mature students on the course. You're also split into groups for seminars/clinical skills etc, so you tend to get to know that group of people really well. After 2 weeks you'll completely forget that most of your course was born in the 90's!
