Still haven`t heart anything
It's the end of January and I still have not heart anything from Newcastle. I think I read somewhere that their admission policy states that they indend to inform anybody who got rejected without interview by the end of Jan.
Is that true?
So, does that mean I am likely to be called for an interview, as I haven't heart anything by now?
However, I am German (but went to school in England for the last two years--> IB), so maybe they make a difference with international/ EU -Students???
Does anyone know?
Cheers

Hey HalloBallo. Just checked the admissions policy document out of curiosity and what it says is :
"c) Making Offers
Candidates who have been unsuccessful at the shortlisting stage, will normally be informed by the end of January.
Candidates to be offered a place without interview will be informed by the end of January to mid-February."
I'm also a non-UK European and have applied for both A101 and A106 at Newcastle. I have received a rejection for the A101 but the A106 still shows "sent" on track.
I don't know but you might have a point, at least I hope you do.
Anw, i'm sure it'll be ok, keine Angst.

Last year I got rejected on the 4th Feb, so no, you're not guaranteed an interview yet. Basically you'll only know you've got an interview when the letter comes through the post.

I think you have a pretty good chance of getting an interview because i think most people have got rejected who are going to. I'm not quite sure about EU applicants tho. Good Luck anyway!
