    Hi
I'm afraid that you cannot transfer to medicine during first year. However, you can apply to transfer at the end of 1st year when about 4-8 people from the whole of the biology department transfer. Again, there is an admissions process with something similar to a personal statement and also an interview. To be considered for interview you must score at least 75% overall in your exams. As for clearing, I've never heard of any places for medicine. Sorry.
