You'll have to study medicine... Studying Neuroscience as an intercalated BSc could help.

Nono. You need to study medicine.

You cannot be a neurosurgeon without studying medicine.

    Medicine - 5yrs
    iBSc - 1yr

You can always to neuroscience as a BSc and then GEP medicine, though that's a risky route (i.e. you can't guarantee you'll get a GEP place). And anyway, seems bit odd to commit to one, fairly small I imagine, specialty before you even get to medical school.

Plus it's an extremely competitive specialty and hardly any people succeed in it.
Commiting to neurosurgery before medical school sounds dodgy, saying you're interested in it is different. But it sounds as though you're 100% commiting to it - have you got any experience of it? Do you even know what the job includes?
