Conference funding?

Hi

I've had an abstract accepted for a poster presentation at the UK Stroke Forum Conference. Which I'm obviously quite pleased about, seeing as I think I'd like to go into neurology (I'm currently a final year student).

However, by the time I've paid the delegate fee, plus hotel, plus travel etc it is going to cost me around £400. And I don't have £400. Please can anyone suggest any possible sources of funding just for this? I'm pretty sure that it's not a suitable use of my med school's access to learning fund.

Could you try the Stroke association themselves? Or how about looking at RSM for an award you might qualify for?
