Wessex have also posted their figures for this year:

Can't see it's at all useful for current applicants as we have to rank all the jobs...

In Mersey we do things a little differently, which is where the figures come in useful.

We have to rank all 10 hospital trusts in order of preference first. We get allocated a trust based on our scores. Thus, for the more competetive trusts you stand a better chance of getting in with a better score.

On March 3rd we find out which trust we get, then each trust allocates its jobs internally.

MTAS was scrapped last year..this year it's called UKFPO but everyone still calls it MTAS cos its just easier and more people seem to know what youre talking about!!

Everything seems a bit too real now that I actually have a job!!!

Is there anything that takes into account that you want to specialise in a field that might be found particularly in one deanery?
