    hey,

just wondering if you are still looking for people to get prepared for the MSAT? I live in East London, but hang around North London quite a bit. Have you found any material to get prepared for the MSAT, by the way? cause I cannot find very much at all.... :-(

ok, looking forward to hear from you,

    Sophie

anyone still interested in doing the study group? i'm in SE london but dont mind meeting in other areas. if we can meet we could practice essay quote responses together and discuss our responses.

Yeah sure I wouldn't mind either. I should be able to get some material for MSAT. However, I would suggest that we meet up 3-4 weeks before the MSAT exam.

    london study group

ok sounds good- atleast a few of us getting together. i too am looking at the gradmed and dr.prep courses, and a study group would only aid revision or essay technique. any suggestions where/ when/ frequency?
libraries/offices? i would offer my home but i am living in a small one bed flat. does the british library have group rooms?

ps- i'd be willing to arrange to meet asap or few weeks before the exam.

    Hi.

I am very interested in meeting for the study group. I think 4 weeks before the exam would be a good time to meet. Would we meet for one session or a couple? I, too, am considering the medprep MSAT class.

    Wink london study group

    hey,

seems like ppl are saying 3-4 wks pre-MSAT exam would be a good time to get together to study.

    1. i heard a good way to practice the essay questions is to take a series of quotes and just discuss each of them in a group- it apparantly exercises thinking & confidence about your opinions about quotes and what they mean to you. Talking about them in a group starts off the practice of speaking out those opinions &helps generate ideas for writing.
    2. also with quote discussions it might be a good idea to start with broad timing and then start reducing time of discussion to 10 mins per quote so as to increase speed of thinking.....

    - obv doesnt beat practicing time limited essay writing but its another method. and if anyone's interested in this we dont need a library or study location to do it. we could meet for a coffee and stack up on coffee and quotes.

    any takers?
