    Indeed, but.....I was only going off the quote -

    "ALSO - remember that after tax £31k is only about £21k!!!"

    If you factor in repayments, then yes you would be near the £22k mark.

    basic is £20,400 - before tax.

    you don't "have the oppertunity to work another 8 hours" - banding depends on the type of rotation you're on and the trust you're working in.
