I think they recommend that you get a book by Scrambler, called Sociology as applied to medicine, but there are several in the library that you can use as well, but if you want your own, that is one of the books that apparently is recommended and is slightly useful to have when it comes to writing the family study, at which point all the copies in the library tend to disappear.

And if your dad is buying all of your books then you might as well trow in a Kumar and Clark so that you have one for later years, it does have a bit of physiology as well, so I used it a bit for that in first and second year, but much much more in third year.

Aside from those books, and the anatomy book that you mentioned, there isn't really much that everyone buys, I bought a physiology book as an extra, called Medical Physiology by Boron and Boulpaep, which I liked because it had many diagrams, but which many people hate, and there are many physiology books to choose from, so buying one might be best left until later.

As you said, just wait until you get to uni and see if you need or like any of the books they recommend.

    Enjoy your summer,
