Sorry for the late reply Dan, I kinda stopped visiting the NewMedia website for a bit due to study commitments. I hope your interview went well (I remember my Stow College interview didn't go well). The website for the course I sat which gives you link places to St Andrews university is: http://www.perth.ac.uk/academicdepar...acilities.aspx It's an excellent course, your interview will happen before the first semester begins so all you have to concentrate on is getting the required grades:-) I'm still available for the help I offered previously and you can get me under Alexander Davidson on facebook in the St Andrews network or unclefrank23@msn.com (on rarely). Alex
Thanks for replying Alex, I applied for Glasgow stew college to study access to Medicine, I've been told the interviews will be held after Ester break Would you like be in contact via msn? are you on facebook or something ! Thanks D
Hi Dan, what course are you applying for? Is it the Pathway to Medicine at Perth College? To be honest if you're able to write a good personal statement and can articulate yourself well during an interview I don't think they will care what nationality you are........ it's a bonus being Bi/multi-lingual:-) Additionally if you can pass Higher English with a B (I only got a C) it shows you are proficient in English. I would be happy to offer you some advice on writing personal statements, interview techniques or more specifically on the access to medicine course at perth college (That's how I got in). Regards, Alex
Hi I've been away from the education for a 3 years, and this year I'm doing int 2 bio, chem, phy, math & higher English also trying to get work experiance I studied evening time classes such as health and safty 1st aid course.. now I'm a bit scared that they might reject me cos English isn't my 1st language and think I can do highers instead of access to medicine. I predicted some questions could be asked during an interview but still not quite sure :-/ any help or advice ? Dan
