Hey congratz on Southampton dude, can I ask you what your GCSE grades were? I'm looking to apply there this year and wanted to see what other students GCSEs were who are studying at Soton, thanks
Hey, been reading ur posts all over the forum. Well done on ur offer at Southampton.. great choice! also on ur other 3 offers u must be ultra clever! Oh and Ramadan mubarak.
Hi, Yes I'm definetely sure. (I don't think my UKCAT is that high considering that I'm reapplying.) I'm applying to Southampton med schl but I have no idea abt what they look at in the UCAS forms. I know that you're a medical student there, do you know what they're looking for? Take care
Lol Medi, Yesterday was straight celebration from 11am-1am!! But then I needed to celebrate that much! It's vital experience for freshers fortnight! I don't want to be in a ditch by the first day.
Not a bit! In fact I'm going to celebrate the fact that I didn't have to dread results (the Irish ones came out yesterday)
Lol I had my barts interview a while between wallowing in self pity about the other interviews I messed up. And I dunno I guess the interview book helped, in the end xD. Didn't work the first 3 times but that's probably because i wasn't using it properly =/ And wow october, that's ages away. To be honest I'm getting sick of my holiday, I'm running out of things to do atm. Which is making me think more abouts results.
I'm working as a ward clerk at the moment and I think I can seriously say that I am starting to get sick of the stuff...! We have at least two boxes open a day. Today we had black magic (okay that was nice) and roses (boring!). There was a box of milk tray left out too but I put them back in my mum's office. I'm still working as an 'agent' () but only because I refused to do the clerk job if I was paid through the hospital. Tax issue. Covering sick leave for the past two months, not sure how long I have left here but I miss my carer job. Aw I love working in nursing homes. None of the hustle, bustle and big egos that you find in the hospital. Just nurses, carers, patients, catering, cleaning and the receptionist who doubles as a porter and all round friendly guy How can you not miss that?
I'm out in Jamaica doing my elective.
This is gonna sound weird but I've discovered I love cheese more that chocolate...dun dun dun I'm reading that 'trust me I'm a junior doctor' book at the moment. You have to read it, it's very good and your man has a writing style that makes it hard to put it down. Funnily, despite how depressing a lot of the stuff he says should sound, it's leaving me feeling more excited about starting. It's a weird day for Nadia Then again I've also had too many cups of very strong tea and sweets. Been hyper since yesterday. So are you gonna miss the residents when you finish up at the old folks home?
Lol no I live in Kent. And yeah I do have facebook xD Just search my name. I doubt anyone else would have my name on facebook xD And lucky you, Barcelona is fantastic. It's a great place to relax and chill. I'm starting early september what about you?
