    hello how are you
  2. Hi,

Overseas qualifications can prove problematic. Contact the Universities individually. A UK nursing degree will get you into the GEP schemes that requir any degree, but not ones that want a bioscience subject.

I am sending this message as I would like to ask for some advice from you. I have been working as an NHS Nurse for the last 6 years now and planning to get into a Medical School. I have obtained my degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing overseas and mostly worked in Medical areas. My qualification and work experience seem to be inadequate for Medical Schools to consider me outright as an applicant particularly in this University that I have been aiming to get into as they have diffficulty asessing my qualifications. It was even made worse when I have discovered that a U.k. degree in Nursing isn't considered into GEP or fast track 4 year course. It is so disappointing right now cause I feel stuck and can't seem to move on with my current qualifications. I don't even seem to stand a chance in a 5 year couse. Is it really advisable to directly talk to each University to inquire what additional studies that I should make to increase my chance of being accepted into a Medical school? I look forward to hearing from you soon if it is okay with you. Will it be fine if I send you another message after this?
