Never too soon for a light hearted joke! Working and saving up a small fortune is a feat I can only dream of, so very well done! I am trying to be optimistic although being away from work and education has sort of taken it's toll in the 'confidence' department. You sound like you are doing all that you can, which really is the most one can do. I am sure you'll see results very soon! Got everything crossed for you.

I doubt I'd be applying to Manchester unless they start a GEP soon lol, really can't stump up £9k/year on top of living expenses. Not too sure about Liverpool too as they want a 'good' 2:1 and I just have a 2:1. Pretty blah, lol. I am thinking of sitting the GAMSAT next year although from what I've heard about it; I'm bricking it already. Anyhoos, we'll see what happens. You should be more than okay with a non-science degree, nothing really is rocket science! Have you taken the GAMSAT too?
Not spoken to dotvicky yet but have seen some very helpful posts from her on the forum. Honestly, I am more scared of making the move as I have no family anywhere in the UK to help out with anything and my son is still quite young. Thinking of everything else that is to come, it is only a very small hurdle to cross.
When there are kids involved, everything seems so much more difficult lol.

Thank you for the add, naseemamaria! Yeah, hoping to apply in the near future and decided to start early. It is very daunting, I agree, but I'm not losing any sleep, just yet. Which schools have you applied to? I am more worried about moving out of Manchester as the husband has a stable job here, so it'd be just my son and I that'd be moving, IF I have an offer when I apply. Have you had any interviews yet? Is your first degree in science?

awww thank you. im just trying to work as hard as i possibly can. yeah id love a gamsat buddy...but i kinda live in the middle of no where so i dont really know anyone else who is doing it! where are you from?? so how many unis are u waiting to hear from now? i just got a rejection from swansea today so just got southampton left but i know its really hard to get in so not expecting much. ur such a great motivational boost for me..i appreciate your kind words x
