So, sarcasm = malicious/partonising. Not really. You need to get some thicker skin ML... I've never recieved an e-mail that contradicts something said on the website. But that's only because I'm not the sort of person to ask questions when the answer is easy to find. If I e-mail a university it's because the information isn't on the website/prospectus.
Oh and by the way, it wasn't intended to sound patronising/malicious, so don't reply with hostility!
It's not that I don't like replying, I just don't like it when people ask other people to do all their research for them...
Instead of starting threads left, right and center asking if universities consider extenuating circumstances, why don't you e-mail them and get some primary, more reliable information directly from the universities? Just a thought...
