Biography:

I am a y11 straight A* student, 16 years old. I am currently deciding what career to go into; medical or a biology degrees are what interest me most so I am looking for advice on how to get into medical school, extracurricular activities to get involved with and any books/courses/work experience oppurtunities which may help me along. I am hoping to go to Cambridge University, I have researched it loads and it looks perfect... I know it's difficult to get in, but if i don't try I definitely won't go!
Also I am involved in health and fitness, like running and super healthy eating so I love cooking! I like non-team sports, like badminton, tennis, aerobics, gymnastics, trampolining, dance (ballet, contempary and general musical theatre) and swimming. I'm interested in art, painting, (awful) drawing and also playing instruments; I play Saxophone to Grade 5, Flute to Grade 2 and taught myself basic Piano and Guitar. I also sing to musical theatre standard; I have performed in almost 25 musicals in my years both amateur and proffesionally and appeared on TV once with John Simm and Jim Broadbent for BBC drama.
In what little spare time I have I enjoy coffee and chats with friends and family and volunteering at school to help out at younger year parents evenings and performing at open evenings :)
I also speak French to A* GCSE standard...
Please give me any advice about Medical School you can... Any is welcome! :)
