hey! the book i bought is the official one, preparing for the bmat. i also got the purple book passing the ukcat and bmat but i didn't rly find this one very useful... for the third part, three things: 1) plan ur essay, spend a third of the time planning, it'll help a lot having ur thoughts already prepared 2) answer exactly what they ask: think carefully about the questions, they don't care about how good ur writing is if u dont write exactly what they say. if u digress u lose marks. 3) try to find synonims of useful words (eg: damaged, in conclusion...) and read some stuff (news, a short history of medicine...): u have to present examples in support of ur argument and very often to describe em u use the same words - dont do this last thing, find synonims. Hope this helps!
