Hey! Blimey it's been ages since you sent this message, sorry! Ooh nearly, that was probably Katie who was the girl I was touring with. She was wearing green definitely, not 100% on the scarf, but is very likely. I'm Michael, I was touring with her. May have been wearing a dark green Exeter hoodie?? Loyalty!

I take it you have an offer, seeing as I've seen you post on here quite a number of times. Are you on the fb group? I'm part of the Exeter MedSoc committee for the next year, so I'll be a big part of your social life! We're organising your freshers all through next term, we're going to make it AMAZING for you all! Everyone always joins MedSoc at the start of the year - it's the smart thing to do!

Any Qs, feel free to fill these notifications - I'll try and do better at reading them this time! See you in September on moving in day (MedSoc-ers show you to your rooms).
  2. My univeristy order would be: cambridge, UCL, kings and then Barts...however I have done so badly in my BMAT so I do not think I will get into Newnham...
  3. Hey! I do know Sussex- I was born in Brighton which I think is part of it- if not, close...I am sorry about the rejection however my UMS were not that good compared to some of the people I know (one of my friends' lowest UMS was like 98%!) , and I think if they do go onto hold something against me it will be those (or the BMAT- i obv. haven't seen the results yet)...however, I am still not getting my hopes up- to get into medicine alone will be so amazing ..
About the King's thing- they did have alot of ethical stuff because it forms part of the questionaire you do before hand, and so they asked me a few questions on my decisions but they weren't nearly as vicious as I thought they would be! Are you applying there? Where else are you applying?
  4. Hello again! You were right about the statistics - it was definitely not the grade thing lol! But in answer to your request I got an invitation for interview yesterday for the 8th so they are probably going to get in contact soon...apparently they were delayed because they recieved the BMAT one day after they were meant to *rolls eyes*- excuses! I do live in England- in the South...have you heard of Surrey? It is like the countryside outside London. What about you?
Oh and I think I have most probably failed my BMAT also- it was section 1 I found the hardest: I got a 3 (yes 3!!) in one of my past practice papers...
  5. Oh thank goodness- I thought I was the only one applying to Newnham! I do not know why there is so few of us- I mean you can walk on the grass there lol! At least it means less competition, although the stats for Newnham applications were pretty low last year so I anticipated a huge surge this year. Luckily I seem to be wrong! Anyway- in answer to your question, I am incredibly worried about a lack of interview offer....I mean they have had our BMAT results for days now! What else can they be waiting for? Could you please inform me if you do get an interview offer and I can see if I have reason to be even more worried! I can do the same for you if you want. Yay for Newnhamites (well, not yet...but hopefully)!
