I would wait until you are at medical school before you make your mind up, or tell me that I am on holiday!

I leave the place I am staying at 6:30am everyday. Yesterday there was a 4 hour ward round in which i couldn't sit down. We are worked very very hard. Not everyone does an elective which is a holiday.

Don't get me wrong some people do and hardly ever have to go in, but this elective is not like that.

And it is also at my expense, I am paying to do this elective. That is my choice, but don't be misinformed. You haven't even started medical school yet try and keep an open mind rather than just going with everything that you hear.
