Hi Brian Behavioural change is not taught at Edinburgh. I find the way your phrase it a bit confusing:"Do people think that it should be in the UG curriculum or do you feel that it's not part of a doctors role?". It isn't either one or the other, surely? No, I do not think it should be in the curriculum,yes, I do think it is apart of a doctor's role, but I think it is unrealistic to get doctors do take on another role, which is already provided in the heath services by counsellors, self-help groups, dieticians, smoking cessation groups etc etc. Nick
