hi just wanted to ask - hmm i was looking at Notts Accommodation and it says typical contract length is 31 weeks does that mean we have to move all our belongings out during holidays ???

Haha they fail to mention that there are bad bits as well as the lovely nice bits! :P well I've applied for a shared ensuite, and Cripps and Lenton and Wortley were my 1st choices (I remember them from Medlink in year 12 haha), but they were all gone by time I applied So I've had to go Hugh Stu and Lincoln. Maybe I should have gone with the others as single rooms for my other choices, but nevermind! I'm rambling :P
I'm in my final months of year 13! It's all going alright though, I should be okay in the summer School's just dragging though, I am so ready to leeeave!
So is it true that medschool isn't as much work in the first year as the horror stories say it is? :P xxxx

I've applied for catered! Cripps, my first choice, has ran out of vacancies which is annoying... So I've gone with Hugh Stewart, is that hall okay?

Hello! I was looking around and saw you're in your first year at Notts med school I have an offer to start this year (wooo!) and I was wondering... Would you recommend catered or self-catered?? I'm really unsure!! Some good old advice would do me some good

PS, my school sucks and didn't send my application off - they originally said they didn't need the money, now they want it up front. Got to dig my check-book out now, sigh.

Oh my gosh it's SO good! I'm having the best time! It was hard in the first few days cos I got homesick but now I'm settled in and i have lots of medic friends it's awesome! We started doing emergency care and things like that which is really exciting and we go on our first GP visits in two weeks which should be cool! Good luck in your applications! It's worth the hastle in the end!

Yeah, going for the big C, Cardiff, Leicester, Nottingham. I'm now waiting for Track to get back to me - the waiting game begins!
