Hi!! (Sorry I can't send u a message to ur inbox as there's something wrong with the computer system, so I'm posting this on ur profile.) You need to buy this book: http://www.bookrabbit.com/catalogue/...9427/ref/gbase You can get the 'Getting into Medical School 2009' (by James Burnett) book from Amazon or Whsmith or some other book shop. At the back there's a table that lists all the medical schools that accept resitters. (I don't have that book anymore as I had borrowed it from the library.) I know that Newcastle med. schl accepts resitters but they say: "We would normally expect applicants to have achieved their A levels on their first attempt . Those who wish resits to be considered must provide information on the extenuating circumstances they wish to be considered. Supporting evidence must be provided from your school or GP." So to apply there you need to provide evidence of why u didn't gt the grades first time round. And also Newcastle med. schl only accept AAA grades. Kings also accept resitters but say: "Re-sit applicants are not considered except where extenuating circumstances, as judged by the School of Medicine or Dental Institute, have contributed to an unexpected poor academic performance." You need to do some homework and look at every med. schls entry requirements on their webpages (Google them) or simply e-mail each admissions department. Hope this helps. Most medical schools do accept resitters (providing that u giv them proof of why u didn't gt the grades 1st time e.g. illness, family problems...).
