Hello. Someone by the name of Arch_Angle recently replied to one of my threads entitled:"My Friend wants to take steroids". If this was not you, then please accept my apologies. If it was, this message is for:
Your reply wasn't very nice was it?
If you look at the homepage of this site, it clearly states "New Media Medicine is an online Social Network of over 42,000 DOCTORS, medical students and pre-med students. It's like Facebook for medics!.
So i wasnt specifically addressing the medical students.
Secondly, medical students can be graduates like myself, who are familiar with peer-reviwed science journals, and have gained the critical appraisal skills to make sound judgements reagarding topics like steroids based on the evidence provided from research. So it doesnt necessarily take a doctor to give a scientific opinion. Also, i said i would appreciate any articles forwarded to me, so that i could make my own judgment aswell.
Finally, even if i had made a mistake, & even if this site was only for med students who had never seen a science jouranl in their life, was the sarcasm really necessary? Couldn't you just have informed me oy mistake?
If you were a doctor, & ur patient made an ignorant remark, would you reply with such sarcasm?
Good luck with your medical application (no sarcasm intended)
