how did yours go? have you heard from Leeds? I got a letter last week for interview on 18th and was told they are still calling people until end of month as had 3600+ applicants

sorry-haven't been on here for a bit. my interviewers were really nice (or pretending to be!) and I had an observer watching and making notes (not sure if that's good or bad). There were no awful questions-just mainly about personal statement (mainly about work experience and volunteering)/ why Newcastle and what I'd do if I ran health service.I'd read they were really tough and came at you with lots of extra questions but mine didn't (again,not sure if that's good or bad).I came out rteally happy but so did everyone else at same time. I then read that some interviewers will laugh and be pleasant even if what you say is terrible as it makes the experience as nice as possible for everyone. will be gutted if don't get an offer as really want to go there.

You probably can't even remember asking me this, but you asked how my Newcastle interview went about three months ago. I only saw it just now!
It went ok I think apart from the interviewers being rather stroppy and interrupting me. I don't think I looked put off. How about yours?

I suppose - although i like further maths (i really like physics cause im far too cool =])...

although decision maths is shit. Heard from any of your uni's yet?

But i'm applying to oxbridge haha! Also - its not like i have anything better to do with my time - i'm finishing chemistry (I hope) by january - so the free periods would just get wasted lol...
