Baseball anyone?

I take it that there arent many medics who like to play baseball...

To be honset there aren't many medcial schools that have baseball temans. Only 2 out of the four medical schools I have applied to have baseball teams. If your med school has a baseball team let me know just out of interest... Thanks.

Well, I guess there are not many baseball players here. I don't play baseball neither: I am a tennis player, but I answered your post so that you don't feel lonely
And, sorry: I am late, but Happy birthday to U!

The only sport I can manage barely is softball. But I suppose that's nothing like baseball.

Hello The Messiah!

Nobody answers to my thread about tennis neither. It does not look like we have a lot of people playing sports on the forum

You can always start a baseball team when you get there. Although if there aren't many other unis with a team then I'm not sure who you'd play.

I know, lazy aren't they? You'd think that people on here would know the importance of more more than anyone else....

There's not much point. Leicester have a few teams near them and if I go to Oxford, I can continue playing for Hertfordshire, the team I play for now. Even though Oxford (the city) have their own team too...

I play baseball! I've been playing for about 5 years now. Which universities have a team?

I don't think any do. All the places I asked said I could just set up a team. But i'm sure if you go to Oxbridge or a London uni you'll find lots of Americans to set up a team with. Alternatively you can go to baseballsoftballuk.com and find the teams close to your uni... but that would cause problems during the summer when your at home and ur team is 100 miles away....
