Judo at ANY universities?

To anyone who is already studying medicine at uni .... are there any judo clubs about - uni-organised or otherwise (nearby.) I compete at national level and want to be able to keep it up! Thanks

My housemate is a HUGE martial arts enthusiast (mma, karate, kenpo, aikiwa jitsu...). Anyway he, and others, have often warned to stay away from university clubs because they are, well for want of a better word, crap.

Hmm.... great. Guess I'll be depending on outside independant clubs alone then. If anyone else agrees with above ^^ or disagrees (from experience - hopefully!!) please please let me know! lol xx

How about free running? I used to gate crash a free running club in an art college until i started working full time. It was deadly

Haha neither I'm a health care assistant and aspirant doc/surgeon (don't know yet) Have you seen sebastien foucan in casino royale? now that is class!

Me too! So what's judo like? I used to do karate and aikiwa jitsu but I moved and I'm thinking of taking up judo now. I like throwing people Is there much grappling in it?

Ground fighting?sorta like wrestling i guess...it's hard to describe. hmmm think greek lover athletes...
