Even if you're not that good, still ok to join teams?

Am hopefully going to uni next year and was wondering if you had to be countylvl etc etc to join teams. Id like to join quite a few but will the fact that ive never played competitively hinder my chances? Also what if you're not that great but still wanna join a team??

Bollocks.

In any of the bigger sports (most clubs infact) there's always going to be a team that suits your level - from international right down to 'there for the beer'.

there is plenty of opportunity to join different teams at different levels. Even if you haven't done a particular sport before, there will be definetly something for you. it's great fun
