Playing cricket

I was just wondering how its possible to play competitive cricket at university. end of september (when we start), the weather is terrible here and we leave in june which is only the start of the cricket season. So i was just wondering for those of you who have or are planning to play cricket @ med skool, how does it work?

i play cricket myself and was wondering the same. we cudnt even play in yr. 11! i guess we cud play bout 10-12 weeks of cricket from mid-april to mid june.
