I know soton has a paintball society who take part in regular paintball tournaments

i shall be joining them if i get an offer this year *fingers crossed* but outside i like the one in London Canary Wharf its preety cool and there is one in france Paris - it might sound expensive but it actually turns out cheaper as you can bring your own paintballs which allows you to save a small fortune compared to the 100 paintballs for a tenner i asked if i could bring my own ones they said NO because i may freeze em and kill someone:S if i was planning to kill someone it would be a better plan than firing frozen paintballs:S

One of the most safest sports you can play from the view of serious (ie hospitalization) injuries.

Is Paintball Safe?

And those that's seem about right. In all the time I've played, I've seen one guy with a bad injury (split his head when he ran into a tree), maybe 2 broken fingers and a half-dozen bad blood welts (ie neck, crotch). And that's from passing thousands of people.

As for non-serious injuries, you get plenty, but no more I'd say than any other sport.
