Never heard of warfighters, i'll have to see what it involves when i'm not on work internet (damn restricted access!). Have to admit paintball is awesome though (even my 19 year old professional ballet dancing sister loved it!)

Aberdeen has a paintball society, from my recollection it costs £20 for the day plus 50 paintballs, then £5 for another 50. The society is for every one not specifically medics. It's a good laugh, there are variations of games which can be played such as last man standing and conquer the castle - a team warfare game, where the designated team has to obtain the guarded flag from the base. It stings like a ****, when shot.

To reap the rewards you have to be prepared to spend, i was running low on ammo towards the end. You may be allowed to provide your own, you can provide your own gun, therefore the same should apply to bullets. One issue is that some of the guns have been in service for a while, the lines of sight are therefore distorted due to wear and tear.

tourney paintballs tend to retail for less than if you're playing recball. Aberdeen do have a paintball society (i've been and played with them), and all of the paintballers i've met from aberdeen are awesome (erythromycin, do i take it you're a pber from aberdeen? do know whitey?! awesome guy!)

That's because tourney players eat paint for breakfast.
When I played woods, I'd use a hopper, maybe a pod per game, so maybe average of 2000 in 5 hours of play.
In tourney, even as the suicidal frontman, I'll use a similar amount of paint per game, but rounds last 5 mins rather than 20!. I'm using paint 4 times as fast.

The amount of paintballs you use depends on your strategy. If you are a front man and go "gung ho" you will use alot in a short amount of time. Therefore if you run low a good strategy is to reserve your ammo, and adopt a snipers method. Chicken: 4th year biomed from Aberdeen, been paintballing when money permits, the name whitey rings bells.
