Question UEA Rugby

Perhaps someone can enlighten me. I noticed today uea seems to have a dedicated rugby site. As a keen county level player who hopes to try and get into UEA again next year (rejected after inteview last year), I was wondering if this is a new thing or have UEA had a medics rugby team for a while?

Proper team? Wait until you've been established for more than a couple of decades...

Hey you have only been about since 2000.
I remember one of your guys saying that like us it had taken till the last year or so to form a full team and get it all running at full tilt!

Not a chance. Royal Hospitals RFC can trace back to around the late 1800s.

so why does UEA med school website say you have only had a med school there since 2000 and joined the health sciences in 2001?

Has there always been a UEA med school?

Look at me location mate.

In med school terms, there has always been a London Hospital Medical School.

Oh ok, i thought you were talking about UEA rugby club.

Well not "always!" been a rugby club in london but for a long time.

Then again we beat them all apart from Imperial at both 7's tournaments
