And how right I was.

Although any gloating is totally benched after the loss of Paddy.

I'm not too fussed about losing Vieira. I trust Wenger, he is meticulous and only sends people out when he thinks they are past their best. Remember Overmars and Petit? The only thing that upsets me is the price. We should have got at least £20 million for Vieira.....

Unhappy

Petit had another good couple of seasons at Chelsea and I thought we missed their formidable partnership in mid-field.

I do agree though. Should've got more money for him. I only hope Henry doesn't follow Paddy's lead as was suggested in this weekend's papers.

Nah, that's just newspapers making stories to sell their papers. Wenger would get death treats if he sold Henry now. But funny how they didn't make a big deal of Ashley Cole or Reyes agreeing to new contracts.....

Well i think we did for a while. When you have a very good player or partnership, you always feel you can never really replace it when you lose it. But Flamini and Fabregas more than proved themselves last season. Who we'll really miss is Edu.

Nice picture BTW....

I don't rate Edu that much. The Clock end were always screaming at him for not trying hard enough - not tracking back, keeping up with play or defending well. Although, having said that the last couple of games he played at Highbury he excelled himself.

I still think we'll miss Viera terribly but you're right, Flamini and Fabregas are both faberoo.

The photo was taken at the Cup Final - hurrah (!)

I was wondering because it didn't look like Highbury...

That final was one of the two great robberies last season. I think Liverpool's robbery was classier though....
