Glazer couldn't even be bothered to turn up to the game yesterday. Hellooooooo what kind of support is that? Huh?? WHAT?!?!
If arsenal had deserved to win yesterday, I would have been happy for em (maybe). However, they won in such a crap way - and so they therefore suck.
Penalties are NOT fair.
Carroll must GO!
Reyes must marry me, along with Ronaldo.I'm a woman damn it....a WOMAN!

22-05-2005, 07:36 PM #15Why did Man Utd deserve to win? Fair enough, they dominated the game but it was pretty pathetic that they couldn't manage to score with all those chances. Arsenal held out and held their nerve during the shootout so maybe they deserved to win.

Goals are scored by getting the ball into the opposition's net without any infringements of the rules of the game. Man Utd failed to score any goals so I'm not convinced that makes them better and more deserving than Arsenal.

Well thats great for you Ben.
It was just very frustrating watching the team you support throw away so many excellent opportunities!
Yeah fine, I'll let Reyes stay at Arsenal or a couple seasons or so - but after that, we are soo wedding.I'm a woman damn it....a WOMAN!

22-05-2005, 11:21 PM #19Trust me, as an Arsenal supporter I've been there plenty of times. Arsenal vs Liverpool FA Cup final in 2001, UEFA Cup final in 2000 spring to mind from recent seasons. You've got to take the rough with the smooth. It's hardly as though Man Utd have never won any games they've had no right to win. Champions League final in 1999 ring any bells?

Not even that, the league in 1999 is what hurts me the most. We lost that by a point and conceded like 18 goals the whole season. And it was all Leeds fault.....
