All you Freshers, got any books to spare?

Hi, im on a gap year now, so applying next month. Anybody whos now finished the whole evil UCAS process have this book they no longer want? Its the "Insiders Guide To Medical Schools". I dont particularly want to buy it brand new if I can get it on the cheap! Cheers people!

Aw, should have left it where it was! :wink: maybe get a better reply... anyway people can find it here. I didn't buy any med school books when I applied - and the various forums at the bottom of the page can help answer some of your questions... although I can imagine you have tons of questions. Hope you get a reply!

Im just a little nervous. You hear about all these people with 4A's and straight A* at GCSE getting rejected from medicine, and they have much better grades then me! I think on paper im not a brilliant candidate, so could do with anything to help me!

hey shareef.. i bought a QPW book (i think those are the right letters!) erm.. called.. ermm.. oh lord.. lemme look it up..

right...its called:

Getting into Medical School.. by joe ruston and james burnett.. i was told it was brilliant and i bought it for the sake of it. i guess its worth a read, gave me some confidence for my interviews.. u can have it if u want. cost me about a tenner. u dont have to pay. just email me ur address and i'll send it to ya! :wink:
