So you want to be a brain surgeon - edition diffs'

Does anyone know if the (much cheaper) 1997 version of 'So you want to be a brain surgeon' is significantly dated/ lacking compared to the 2001 edition?
Thanks
Clare

Hey Clare,

I haven't seen the 1997 edition of the book, but I would imagine that its information is quite outdated in comparison to the current version. I also think that very soon the current version will be out dated with all the new changes to postgraduate training.

If its just a general insight about specialities then I would imagine that the 1997 would still be useful. Overall though, I think a more accurate view is gained from the 2001 edition.

Hope that helps
