it a little old since know they are in the 11th edition. I have the 8th and I kind its old. any way essentially all edition have the core content approx so I might well be useful. Perdonall y I used the book for anat & physiology at an undergrad level.

i strongly belive that tratora is quite simply not detailed enough for what you need to know. it insists on waffling lots, but not telling you much. Moore's essential clinical anatomy is excellent for undergrad anatomy, it is short sharp and to the point. Physiology texts are more tricky, i would see what you like in the library before shelling out.

Grays is the complete opposite end of the specturm. The full edition is a) very expensive and b) way too much detail for what you need for undergrad medicine. It is useful for the occasional reference but nothing more.

Some people love Gray's for students, i personally think Moore's is much clearer and more succinct. but it is always best to use the books from the library first and decide which is best for you.

Moore's = Essential Clinical Anatomy.

Did some pricing the other day. They're all so expensive I'm taking my sixth edition Tortora with me anyway.

I was reading the reviews of them on amazon.

The general gist: -well people were gushing praise for all of them
-for those who offered constructive criticism it seems to be:
*Grays very good but like a kids book compared to Moore
*Tortora not detailed enough
*Moore too detailed but coloured boxes/diagrams make it easier to study

Most people on this forum seem to be recommending Moore (like Marc above).

My personal opinion...well it's certainly very pretty
