Toronto Notes

Is anybody using Toronto Notes as core materials for clinical rotations? I can't find the book in the local bookstores so I wonder if anyone can provide a link for me to download the file?

Thanks a whole bunch!

not sure that you can get this through any download file, but you can buy the text through amazon. Check out www.medicalbooklist.com it seems to have good deals. If there is a digital version, I would be interested though as the text itself is quite massive.

Have used toronto notes for many years (3 years now). Recently graduated from the University of Alberta, Canada in 2007 and used 3 main sources to study for the LMCC and USMLE.
1) Toronto Notes
2) Good set of OSCE notes
3) practice exams from www.medicalstudentexams.com
This site has tons of exams!

Hope that helps!

agree, have used toronto notes for the LMCC and USMLE exams. Looked at the websites www.medicalstudentexams.com, www.USMLEpracticeExams.com and www.LMCCexams.com

All sources are very good. Just my 2 cents.

DrD and Andybrooks,

I am dual citizen Canadian/French, will start med school in the UK in september 2008, planning to go either to the US or Canada, and know pretty much a lot about the both processes LMCC and UMSLE.

Did you really ONLY used the Toronto notes and www.medicalstudentexams.com, www.USMLEpracticeExams.com and www.LMCCexams.com to take LMCC and USMLE????

It's pretty unusual for USMLE applicants not to go through the high yield, First Aid, and Kaplan courses...

May I kindly ask you how much you both scored at the USMLE Step 1 and 2?

Where did you match and in which specialty?

Kind regards,

Cotroni

There are many sources out there, no sure which are the best "high yield ones" but I like the questions from www.MedicalStudentExams.com because I can make custom exams and do questions from the sections that I want. Its also also cheaper than the others you mentioned.
Thanks.
