mnemonics

hi,

I am currently studying anatomy of the upper extremities.its a nightmare trying to remember all those nerves, arteries and muscles.

i searched on the web for some mnemonics and i came across these books:

'Mnemonics for medical undergraduates' by S yousaf

'Mnemonics for medical students' by khalid khan

Has anyone used any of these books,if so how did u find them??

thanks

I used to read from 'Mnemonics for medical students' by khalid khan when I was doing anatomy.. It's not that useful! He writes about things which u dont really have difficulty with memorizing like cranial nerves..etc.

The best way to memorize is by looking at diagrams and dissecting corpses...

Try this website: http://www.medicalmnemonics.com/

Bonne chance!!

Half my exam material was learned with mnemonics... good technique for written stuff. Trouble is, you can end up with so many mnemonics, you might need a mnemonic for the mnemonics
