    Physiology by Berne and Levy et al is very good, though it may go into too much detail in some areas.

    Principals of Human Physiology by Germann and Stanfield is pretty good as well.

    GANONG PHYSIOLOGY

    Try this ISBN: 0071402365 Physiology by William F Ganong - its about 30 quid but iwll cover everything you ever need to know - lok for it in most libraries rather than buy - especially very good for pharmacology and marking endocrinology make sense

    Human Physiology by Vander, Sherman & Luciano simplifies things quite nicely and has pretty little diagrams.

    I agree although it is limited for anything further than 1st year physiology - its really good for the renin angiotensin system if I remember correctly - see also a book by MARIEB the name of which is forgoten to me - originally for nurses it nicely puts things in a systematic fashion too
