Oxford Handbook for the Foundation Programme

Any of the final years/PRHO's got a copy? It was bought for me by a well meaning relative. A million miles from being any use to me at the moment but I thought it was good and would probably be useful for anybody soon to start their first jobs.

Any thoughts on it?

I know I'm answering a very very old post but I bought the book couple months ago and i really enjoyed reading it, also i think the PDA version will be quite handy for somebody starting ward rounds on FY1.

The book has a nice introductory chapter which covers aspects like the job, your career, communication, ethics...it even contains advice about housing, managing your loans or what is the essential ward gear (if i could name it like that).

The medical part itself contains chapters: clinical presentations, specialties, procedures and interpreting results.Really nice structured and easy to read.
