I'm soon to be starting my Paeds placement but have no idea what textbook to buy. I want something that focuses on what's needed for the UG curriculum but doesn't skimp on the details. Preferably also with some colour illustrations to stop me falling asleep while reading it! Am I asking too much?

I had a look on amazon and they seemed to be pushing Lissauer but all the customer reviews on there said it was poor. Are there any other suitable ones?
