Birmingham Graduate entry MMI Interview

Hi,

I have an interview for the Birmingham graduate entry medicine course. I've read the information on the website and have been making notes on possible questions too. Does anybody have any tips from the MMI interview or similar interviews? What are the role play stations like? I've read that they sometimes ask you to interpret data etc and I'm just wondering what exactly will be expected of a successful candidate.

I can't say from experience yet as Aberdeen where I have an interview, who are running the MMI style interview for the first time this year, is on 17th Jan. However I found some useful information on the MMI format here, hope it helps:

If you type it into google some other stuff comes up too I think, not had a chance to look for much more yet but there should be some extra stuff if you dig a little!

Thanks very much for the link! Only just had chance to reply. It gives more info than the Birmingham site anyway, still not sure exactly what to expect on some stations but I guess they don't want to give too much away. Here's a link to a good site on recent ethical/general medicine topics. Thought I'd put it on here as it's quite interesting and might be pretty handy for an interview.

Has anybody else got an interview for GEP at Birmingham? I am still waiting for a response

Hi Arclite. I had my Bham GEP interview on Jan 10th. The other dates were the 17th and tomorrow the 24th, and we'll be hearing the outcome in early Feb. An interviewee from the 17th has since told me they were told the uni 'didn't anticipate any more interview dates'. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
