What should I take?
Hi, I have an interview at Glasgow for the 1st of December. What should I take with me? I know it asks for my certificates, but what else? Should I take my personal statement? Bag? Or just a file with documents? Also in terms of how you dress? (Girls!) Trousers, shirt with a blazer maybe? Or something less officish?
thnx, I just don't want to miss out anything on my interview so I finally decided to post lolzzzApplied for undergraduate 2010 (A100) at:

Taking a copy of your PS, is a must for most inteviews from what I understand. As for Certs, it's uni dependant. Cambridge still have mine as I needed to sub
it at application. Other uni's say bring to interview, and others say after offer...
If you do take jelly babies watch out for the interviewer who bites the heads off first.

When Glasgow say to take a photo signed on the back, do they mean by you or by someone else?

Take whatever makes you comfortable. If they require ID, take some. Take your certificates, take your application and personal statement, you never know if you might need it. If you have a nice, not-too-tattered bag you like, take it, otherwise a decent folder that important things can't fall out of should do.
For dress: Most importantly, it should be something you feel comfortable in. I believe the smart dress code universities expect of their students for when they meet patients is the way to go. No T-shirts, jeans, trainers or a lot of flesh on display is their rule, and I think it's a good guide for interviews.
A nice shirt or blouse, even a smart-ish jumper would be great, and a smart skirt works equally well as smart trousers. You don't need to invest in a suit if you don't want to, yet. Some people like heels, but if they make you uncomfortable, a nice pair of flats may make you feel more yourself.
Hope that helps, and good luck.~Biomed Grad studying Med 5 Year~
