Talking abt recent medical news in the interviews
When the interviewers ask to talk abt recent issues, is it ok to talk abt stuff that's been on the news abt a month ago? Or should it be abt very recent news?

I can't be sure but i talked about an article that came up about a few months before the interview. I guess it depends on what they ask you. If they say "What article have you read in the last week?" then obviously you must mention one within the week!
I was asked about "an article you've read recently" so thats actually quite general. I obviously just didn't mention that it was a few months back but i don't see the problem in saying one that was quite some time ago if you did find it interesting.2008 Re-applicant:
Barts: Interview (31st January) - OFFER! - Firm
Leeds: Rejected
St Andrews: Interview (21st February) - Withdrawn
Keele: Withdrawn
Nottingham (Pharmacy): Withdrawn
Dr. Cox: "Listen up there, Molly Menopause, I need you to quiet the hell down, you're scaring everyone in the hospital. I mean, my God - they're delivering a baby upstairs, and the poor kid's using the umbilical cord to crawl the hell back in."

Unless they specify a time frame, I'd suggest you talk about anything which you're comfortable talking about from the recent news. Do as the question says. :P
This is a signature... honest.
