    Dinner party question

I've been told that one of the questions someone was asked at a med school interview was...

If you were to have a dinner party who would you invite? (can be dead or alive)

I wouldn't have a clue who to invite other than my friends> I can't think of any famous doctors really!!!

    Any ideas...

are you sure that the guests would have to be doctors? they could just be famous people that you would enjoy meeting.

I think as long as you can say who you would want to invite and give a good explanation as to why, then your ok.

I think not inviting any dead people at all would be a good start - would be rather off-putting watching people fall face down into their soup.

Not necessarily someone famous but someone that maybe you know that has inspired you or means a lot to you.
Or alternatively someone with a sense of humour.

    Awwwww

How about Christiaan Barnard? Or someone else who's done something really big for medicine?

Yep. That's him. To be honest, I'd probably pick Watson, Crick and Franklin (especially Franklin).

I would have also chosen Rosalind Franklin. It's really sad that she died before receiving the nobel prize, she totally deserved it.
