Just a question...
If an admissions tutor were faced with two applicants: one with straight A's at AS lvl and GCSE that didnt interview very well, or one with, say, AABB at AS that interviewed well, which candidate would they be most likely to choose???
Obviously this depends on the institution. But in general terms, which would be preferred? Someone with A levels in all sciency/mathsy subjects or one with englishy/psychological subjects plus the bio/chem prerequisites???
Also... this one is aimed at current med students: I am applying to Cardiff, Leicester, Keele and St George's. If anyone from any of these places could share with me their experiences of the interview process/ what their personal view on the course content at their med skool is then pls let me know I would be v.grateful.
Omlette. xxx
(the girl so desperate to do med she'd even consider getting a place in a Czech med skool through clearing or doing a psychology degree and then coming back through the graduate route!!!)

All other things being equal/equivalent, the one that interviewed very well - or else what's the point of interviewing?
