Newcastle asked me this at interview... I said diagnosis and applying science. Left out additional responsobility cos a nurse is equally accountable if they mess something up.
Some old bloke on the pannel though was very keen to tell me hs opinion on the matter; that nurses try to be doctors but don't have the intellectual capacity and should stick to wiping bums whilst doctors take the responsobility of treating patients. Lovely bloke.Bristol medic
