What's so bad about ER
Before I qualified as a doctor, I used to love watching medical shows like ER. Now, I switch channels the moment it shows up. The main reason is that ER is like real life Medicine but seriously "sexed up". You've taken the most juicy & exciting parts of a doctor's experiences over 12 months & crammed it into the space of a 1 hour epsiode. Real medicine is much more mundane with lots of paper work, headaches & routine.
Plus, the last thing you want to hear after a hard day's work is more Medicine.

but what do these admissions doctors have against Casualty and Holby City? lol- at every open day I have been to they mention them as if they are the work of the devil- at the Premed Course at Oxford (even THAT cost £50 for a few hours!) they even played a clip of ER and criticised it, lol.
