GPs 'wasting millions' on drugs

The NHS could save over £300m a year by being more efficient with prescription drugs, watchdogs say.

Quite a figure, but wonder how much patients could save by ordering repeats responsibly? Many surgeries are trying to monitor frequency of administration of repeats, but if the patient isn't actually concordant with their medication then it just accumulates in the cupboard!
