To be honest, I find your posts on this topic a bit absurd. If you don't wish to drink that's up to you and I respect that, but saying "as teenagers think that wine is best way to reslve their problems" is just a completely unfounded statement. I don't know any teenagers who think alcohol is the solution to all their problems; there may be one or two but it is certainly the minority. Teenagers drink to have fun, in my experience. Obviously very young children drinking, and binge drinking, is unhealthy, but raising the age to 21 will do little to nothing to solve that issue.

Booze is good. As long as one limits one's consumption to a couple of bottles of a nice 1970s Château Le Neufcroix to wash down one's dinner, one will be fine.
The things you need to watch out for are tobacco and religion - they are sure to do you in.

Teenagers I know anyway dont drink Wine to relieve stress more like the reverse many older people I know who are stressed drink wine at the end of the day. Alcohol islegal in the UK at the age of 18 as it is considered that people are able at this age to consume it safely. Yes many people dont but they are deemed to have the responsibility/maturity to do so.

Alcohol also has miraculous effects if administered with a nice meal to a lady.

I would disagree there. There is plenty of evidence showing that moderate alcohol consumption can make you healthier. Beer contains high amounts of selenium which can protect against bowel cancer. Wine contains bioflavinoids which prevent the oxidation of lipids in atherosclerotic plaques, thus reducing myocardial infarctions and strokes. Now of course drinking to excess is not good, it can lead to a great many problems, but small amounts can be beneficial, taste very good, and act as social lubricants.

And just to note about the legal side, alcohol is not illegal in the UK until the age of 18. Alcohol can be administered at any age for medical purposes. Children above the age of 5 are allowed to drink alcohol in their own home, and those aged between 16 and 18 can legally enjoy 1 glass of wine or 1 pint of beer with a meal in a restaurant.

Speaking of which, it is time for me to visit the local hostelry and imbibe some of the good Lord's holy water.

That's exactly what I wanted to say, but I didn't have the medical evidence to back it up
