Anti-smoking 'wonder pill'

Chantix, a drug currently available in the USA, could treble the chances of success for smokers who are trying to quit, reported four newspapers on 17 August 2006. The news articles generally accurately reported the conclusions of two well-conducted randomised controlled trials. However, the studies were preliminary in nature and further research is required.
